Stuart H. Sakwa is a partner of Moore & Lee, LLP. Previously, he was an associate at Leiby, Taylor, Stearns, Linkhorst & Roberts, P.A. in Fort Lauderdale, FL, as well as an associate at Braude & Margulies, P.C. in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Sakwa’s practice focuses on government and commercial construction contracts. His representation of clients includes pre-bid reviews of project specifications, bid protests, contract drafting and negotiation, delay, inefficiency and extra work claim preparation, termination claims, mediation, arbitration, litigation and appeals. Mr. Sakwa has litigated disputes on behalf of contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and architects before federal and state courts throughout the United States, boards of contract appeals and arbitrations. He has also successfully represented clients in bid protests at both the local and federal levels.

Mr. Sakwa represents a diverse range of clients, including owners, general contractors, mechanical and electrical contractors, shell contractors, other specialty trades and architects. He has been involved in a broad range of projects including hotels, theme parks, hospitals, power plants, water and wastewater plants, airports, multi-use buildings, churches, schools, prisons and single family residences.
