LEONARDO (LENNY) N. ORTIZ is a Partner at Moore & Lee’s Fort Lauderdale office. Lenny is Board Certified in Construction Law by the Florida Bar. Lenny has extensive experience in a wide range of construction claims and disputes representing owners, contractors, subcontractors, and surety companies. Lenny has also advised clients at every phase of the construction process including drafting contracts and preparing lien and bond claims.

Lenny has lectured on various construction industry topics including AIA contracts, construction defects, and subcontractor/contractor relationships. Prior to joining the firm, Lenny was an associate at Smith, Currie & Hancock, LLP where he represented various clients in construction and commercial litigation. Lenny also served as a Staff Attorney at the Florida Supreme Court in Tallahassee, Florida, from 2001–2002.
