Moore & Lee welcomes two summer associates, Matthew Long and Casey McKinnon

Matt Long and Casey McKinnon have joined Moore & Lee, LLP as summer associates in the McLean office.

Matt is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington and just completed his second year at George Mason University School of Law. He is a member of the George Mason Law Review as well as the Moot Court Board. Matt won GMU’s 2010 First-Year Moot Court Competition, 2011 Upper Class Moot Court Competition, and was a finalist in a 2011 Regional ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition. He spent last summer interning for Judge Kassabian in the Fairfax County Circuit Court.

Casey is a graduate of Dartmouth College and just completed his second year at the George Washington University School of Law. He is a member of GW’s Public Contract Law Journal and spent last year working with the United Mine Workers Health and Retirement Funds, Office of General Counsel. Prior to law school, Casey served as a volunteer for three years in Teach for America.

Matt and Casey are assisting the attorneys at Moore & Lee with research and promotional writing assignments while learning about construction litigation practice.
