John Gravante is a partner in Moore & Lee, P.C.’s Fort Lauderdale office. For over 20 years, John has represented clients in a wide array of complex commercial litigation matters. His practice is primarily focused on class actions, and John has played a key role in some of the most significant class and multi-district cases in the country throughout his career. John has extensive class action and commercial litigation experience in a range of areas, including antitrust, consumer protection, product liability, professional liability, mass torts, and health care. His representation of clients from both sides of the aisle has given John a unique perspective that enables him to skillfully navigate complex cases and offer valuable counsel to clients across a variety of industries.
John has been honored by several publications for outstanding legal work on behalf of his clients. He has twice been named the Most Effective Lawyer of the year by the Daily Business Review in recognition for his exceptional results. John was a finalist for the Trial Lawyer of the Year award presented by the Public Justice Association and was also named a Rising Star by the Daily Business Review.
John graduated summa cum laude and second in his class from the University of Miami School of Law. During law school, he was an active member of the University’s Law Review and won the Moot Court competition. After completing his legal education, John had the privilege of working as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Adalberto Jordan in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. John also served as an adjunct professor of Legal Research and Writing at his alma mater teaching essential, practical legal skills to law students.
